Luke ➳ Newborn Portraits by Abigail Smith

“It is understood that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravages of any storm.
When a rainbow appears, it does not mean the storm never happened or that we are not still dealing with it’s aftermath.
It means that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds. Storm clouds may still hover, but the rainbow provides a counterbalance of color, energy, and hope.”

Govenders ➳ Family Portraits by Abigail Smith

Through this lockdown I have learned that there are so many things I am capable of living without… but family and friends are the necessities of life. Thinking of all the families and this one in particular who are not able to physically be together during lockdown, grateful though that through technology we are able to keep in touch.

Mom has always wanted to have portraits done with her family and with having to wait 7 years for their new baby it was a momentous occasion! Amelie is just 4 days new here and isn’t she such a pretty baby?
